Wedding Time

My brother is a married man!! I am so happy for him and his cute wifey :)

A bit about the engagement that I started to write like a month ago and never finished: It's fun to see them excited and not sure of what they're doing with this whole wedding thing. I know the feeling! I sometimes can't believe Spence pulled it all off. I mean, I was the worst bride ever! haha He did most of the planning because I had vacations planned. We got engaged in March. I was going to school full time and working part time - I went to Singapore & Japan with Brige for a month or so after school was out - then I had a week home before leaving to Europe with my family for two weeks - then the wedding two weeks after that. YIKES! What was I thinking?! I guess I was thinking that I love this guy and I really want to get married :) and that I didn't want to miss out on the fun I had planned. So, we made it happen.

And that's as far as I got! But yes, we made it happen and I am still in love with my hubby. I love him more each day and really appreciate his patience while I hibernate and study all day long (uhg), stress, and forget to do the every day things most people do. I really don't know what I'd do without him. It's amazing he puts up with me every day, poor guy! :) He even washed my car for me this weekend (it was no longer black, it looked like a light gray, so bad) and went grocery shopping so we'd have food at home. Thank You Love for All of Your Help!

SO - back to the wedding! It was last weekend and everything turned out wonderful. They looked happy, the reception was beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing everyone at the reception. This was the first wedding shoot Spence has ever done! I am un-patiently awaiting the photos! I will try to post those soon :)

Here are some pictures of the beautiful bride! I know you've all been waiting *wink*wink* (all like 2 people who read this blog lol - it's ok, it's more for me anyways since I don't journal - this is it!)

Welcome to the Family Amber!

Holiday Photography Fun

We have Fantastic Sweaters :) Our friends invited us to an ugly sweater party. Because we have a photography studio setup in our basement (thank you hun!) naturally we took pictures before the party. Don't we look awesome?! I love it!

He has lights poking through the sweater, connected to a battery. Yes - they light up. She has tinsel wrapped around her with bulbs attached to her sweater. Absolutely Awesome!

Spence and I found sweaters and some amazing pins and bells. Spence is wearing a beautiful bell around his neck, his pin is a lovely penguin. I decided to wear the bell like a headband, my pin is a wreath with a dog in the center saying Merry Christmas, I also am wearing amazing christmas tree earrings to match the lovely gingerbread scene on my sweater :)

This sweater is just amazing, with lovely holiday Dog Toys Attached. Yes they squeak lol!

We also took pictures of the puppies! Aren't they super cute!??! I love them so much! I also love how festive their ribbons are :)

Schoko wasn't in that photo shoot because she already had pictures in her TuTu :)

There was a really cold morning and Spencer wanted to take cool pictures of our pup in the super frosty white grass. I thought since everyone is on this post we can't leave out our little girl. So here they are!

It's cool because you can tell the grass is mostly white, but not snowy. I love the contrast between the grass and Schoko's coloring. Doesn't she look good?! What a pretty pup!

Isn't my husband a great photographer?! I think he's amazing & has been improving so quickly lately. I'm happy he has found a hobby he enjoys. I am also grateful to have wonderful photos that capture our every day life. It's so much fun and then I get to scrapbook them if I ever have time!

You can find more of his work on his flickr site here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/spencermefford/

Now a lil' bit about me and what I've been up to. I got a ton of scrapbooking supplies from my mom for Christmas. I love them so much! I finally got my glimmer mists I've been wanting. I had a lot of fun scrapping a day or two over the holiday. I was able to scrapbook the first Christmas I had with Spencer - I will try to post pictures of the scrap-ness later so you can see how cool they look. I think that I am slowly getting better at designing my pages. If only I had a bit more time - I need to pass this test! It's killing me slowly... I just need to do it but I haven't wanted to. I feel like I've been in school ever since I graduated! lol So, sorry friends that I haven't seen in forever - I miss you all - I really do - I just am just a bit stressed out over this test so I can't hang out yet. Hopefully Soon!!

Family Photo

We finally have a family photo! Doesn't it look good? We used the setup we have in the basement and some help from my family and then voila - a family picture! So, I decided we should use this in some holiday cards to send out to some friends and family. Our first Christmas card ever! woohooo!

How could you not love these pictures of Schoko! Hahaha. I wanted to make a tutu so I decided that Schoko could use a Christmas Tutu :) It was slipping off her waist so I used some left over ribbon & wrapped it around her chest to help hold it up.

Isn't she cute?!

Oh yeah, and guess who got sick on Christmas Eve - Me. Boohoo. Who want's to be sick on vacation? Not Me...

Photography Fun

We are participating in this year's Help Portrait - Ogden. Naturally we had to buy a new lens for our camera for the event, so we took the dog out for a photo shoot to practice. Didn't my hubby do a great job taking these pictures?!

We found a lost puppy during the shoot - he decided he wanted to be friends with Schoko, mostly...  ;)

He didn't have a collar so we couldn't call his owners. He was a nice dog and would sit when I told him to. So we walked around the neighborhood (he followed me because he knew I had treats haha) the direction he had come from from and nobody knew who he belonged to! The poor thing was very lost. After walking around a while we saw a car calling out a name and driving slowly. So I yelled out - did you loose a dog? Because we found one! The car came over and were so excited to find their dog!! It sounded like the dog was visiting and had wandered off. If we hadn't found them I'm not sure what we would have done! I thought about tying him out by the stop sign down the street hoping someone would find him... and then maybe calling animal services or something... what would you do?!

That was our "Black Friday" Fun!! I like sales but I dislike crowds more :)
