Coffee coffee coffee… We have a super fancy coffee/latte/espresso machine. Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday Spence!! :-) I must admit that I enjoy it too! Who doesn’t love a good latte?!
Spencer is the family barista so when he had a trip to Memphis for a week I was worried about making my own coffee. Before he left I wrote down a step by step process, and had him walk me through making a latte of my very own. So this is a photo of my first latte I made for myself while he was out of town. Yes, I know the espresso isn’t perfect but hey, what do you expect?!
We finally got Schoko a soft, fluffy bed for our living room. I like that it looks like a chair and that she can’t really sneak off of it because it’s off the ground. hehe.
Spencer needed to work a week in Dallas during February. Since I really don’t like being home alone I decided to go with him and work out of our Dallas office. I loved working there. The office was quiet and I didn’t feel as stressed as I do here. Glad I was able to go :) We were also able to see our friends who moved out there. It was fun to see them!
Last weekend we went to Denver and explored Boulder, Evergreen, and visited my aunt out in Parker. Let’s just say we put a lot of miles on our little rental car! It was a fun little trip.
Have you ever been to a True Food Kitchen?! We first ran across one in Santa Monica on our trip this past summer. We loved the food and now try to stop by those lovely restaurants whenever possible. We got to eat there while we were in Dallas and in Denver. I highly recommend it!
While at the Denver location I found this lovely little quote on the blackboard in the lobby:
I love this quote because food can really affect the way you feel! It’s so important to eat healthy and is something I have been working on lately.
