Dirt - Lots of Dirt

If you can recall last years photos after we moved the massive amount of weeds from the beds...

and filled them in with wood chips (which my puppy loves to eat, ugh)...

and then the flower beds (maybe bush beds since I have yet to put in flowers) were starting to look pretty good.

Until everything sunk.... You can tell that the beds used to be fairly flat, but this spring they all sunk. So we've been filling them in with dirt. It's expensive and time consuming! I really want raised beds, they look a million times better. So - 10 yards of dirt later everything is looking better. Then we'll put some type of mulch or cover on it which will make them a little taller still. I like the dark wood chips but my puppy seriously thinks they are treats and eats them all... then pukes them up... not fun! Needless to say - we need to find something else that looks nice that she won't eat.. Suggestions are welcome :)

What else have we been up to? 

We went up to my uncle's cabin in Idaho and had a great time with my family! It is always so much fun to see them all! My puppy swam for the first time and loved it. It was so cute!!

I found some cute pillows at Khols to put in our TV Room and a cute rug for the entry way.Yes, I love to have new things around the house. It makes me happy every time I see them. I'm easy to please -give me a decoration and I'm happy for a month! lol

Garden is growing out of control - but no fruit! I saw a few tomatoes starting to pop up and a zucchini on it's way. So we should have fresh food soon! We have had a lot of things sprout from fruit left on the ground last year, so that has been kinda fun and different :)

Oh yeah - Studying... This test is going to kill me. All I want to do are these summer activities so studying has been quite difficult. I have been staying late at work to get it done. blah.

I sold, or am selling, my car? We have a down payment and are just waiting for the guy to pick it up and pay us. I really hope we don't get scammed. My hubby has got me a little paranoid! so hopefully it all works out.

Well that's all for now I guess - nothing very exciting or interesting, just life :)
