The Cruise

We have had so much fun this summer going on vacations! So, it would take me forever to add all of them at once so I'm going to start with the cruise. On July 4th we set sail for the Mexican Riviera on the Carnival Splendor. We had a great time! This was the last trip my whole family would be together for a while, since Stephen is now serving an LDS Mission in Canada for 2 years. It was fun to spend time as a family before he left.

Our first few days were some fun days at sea. We played cards, mini golfed, soaked up some sun, and ate lots of food.

We love playing Canasta and Hand In Foot!

This picture is of the first formal night. We had fun dressing up :-)

Our first port was Puerto Vallarta. Here we did the Extreme Canopy Adventure. First we took a boat out to another little town. From there we got on big truck/jeep things, (it felt like we were on the Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland, it was so bumpy!) up to the base of the adventure. From there we rode mules up the canyon to where we would begin the zip-line adventure!

I look tired, but Bex looks cute! HA!

This first one is of me flying through the canyon, and then Spencer about to end his first zipline.

From there we took several other ziplines to cruise through the canoyon. It was so much fun!! The first one was a bit scary, but after the initial shock of it all, I had a blast! I would definatley do it again! About 1/2 way through the course we repeled down a few waterfalls.

We had so much Fun!! :-)

Afterwards Spencer and I went out to Pepe's restaurant. It was delicious! Highly recommended if you are ever in Puerto Vallarta!

The next port was Mazatlan. Here Spencer and I did the Salsa and Salsa adventure. We made salsa and then learned to dance the salsa! It was really fun, and we have made the salsa recipe from this adventure using our garden veggies at home and it is de-lish!

The last port was Cabo San Lucas. Here, we all went snorkling.

We had a great time on the cruise. I just wish every day was a port day. The cruise ship was fun, but I really enjoyed the ports!
